1. ASSISTANT MANAGER – ENGINE OVERHAULING
2. ASSISTANT MANAGER – WORKSHOP GENERAL MAINTENANCE
3. ASSISTANT MANAGER – MOBILE CRANE MAINTENANCE

1. ASSISTANT MANAGER – ENGINE OVERHAULING
The Assistant Manager – Engine Overhauling is responsible for the effective overhauling of all engines in the company in order to meet organizational objectives. He evaluates engines conditions, performance data and implement overhauling plans as approved
EDUCATION
Mechanical Technician or Engine Expert from an accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of ten years experience
Excellent knowledge in overhauling, repair and maintenance of diesel engines preferably Caterpillar and Cummins
Solid mechanical background strong knowledge of diesel engine trouble shooting and experienced in working with diagnostic equipment
Proven background in the supervision and management of a workforce of skilled craftsman in a maintenance environment
Very well organized, proactive, hands-on, flexible and autonomous
EXPERIENCE
At least ten years in a top level functional engine overhauling role with the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; sound management and planning skills; a proven track record in developing and administering a winning overhauling program is a must
2. ASSISTANT MANAGER – WORKSHOP GENERAL MAINTENANCE
This is a general maintenance work at the most complex level, responsible for general maintenance of company’s engineering based operations. The general Maintenance Assistant Manager performs the maintenance and repair of facilities, oversees the maintenance and repair of facilities equipments by staff and vendors, participates in managing the maintenance budget, inspects equipments and facilities for performance verification and quality control, exchange information with management staff on operations and special projects, participates in maintenance of equipment and facilities by estimating labor, material and equipment requirements and coordinating staff to perform the work and coordinates approved vendors/contractors
EDUCATION:
Technical qualifications/HND/BSC Mechanical engineering degree required. Concentration on Engine reworking preferred. Emphasis is on performance and delivery of targets and stated goals
EXPERIENCE:
At least ten years in a top level functional within the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; sound management and planning skills; a proven track record in developing and administering a winning overhauling program is a must
3. ASSISTANT MANAGER – MOBILE CRANE MAINTENANCE
The Mobile Crane Maintenance Assistant Manager performs the maintenance and repair of Mobile Cranes, oversees the maintenance and repair of the equipment by staff and vendors
EDUCATION
Electrical or Mechanical Technician from an accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of ten years experience in maintenance, repair, and assembly of preferably Manitowoc/Grove mobile cranes and other heavy equipment
Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
Strong experience in electrical and electronic repairs as well as trouble shooting on mobile cranes
Establishment knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair practices and procedure
Proven background in the supervision and management of workforce of skilled craftsmen in a maintenance environment
EXPERIENCE
At least ten years in a top level functional welding / carpentry maintenance role within the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; sound management and planning skills; a proven track record in developing and administering a winning overhauling program is a must
